World Swim Status Report

The World Swim Status Report (www.trainingstudy.com) is collecting and summarizing pandemic affectedness of swimming teams at all levels of the sport in reports to their National Federations and Governing Bodies. With the data, they are launching a Live Interactive Dashboard Map visualizing global swim team “health."

The study does not include personal health statistics, focusing instead on the functional health of swimming programs at all levels from around the world.

The call for team status updates states: "Your 2-minute report will help our community and our governing bodies receive the most complete information about the state of competitive swimming today.”

The free public reporting app also compiles National Federation COVID-19 resources and information about upcoming Virtual Swim Meets.

Participating teams are asked five questions:

  1. Is your team active?
  2. Has your staff shrunk?
  3. What kind of training(s) are you currently conducting?
  4. Are you participating in any competitions?
  5. Has your athlete participation shrunk?

Reports will anonymize individual team data.

Teams have the ability to update their responses as their status progresses in these rapidly changing times.

The data collection, statistics, live visualization and reporting are a free public service for the swimming community by the not-for-profit operation TrainingStudy.com, where any stakeholder of a team may submit their status update.

Please submit your team status at www.trainingstudy.com.
