Dear Coaches and Friends of Swimming!

Hopefully everyone got home, safe and sound, without weather interruptions after Junior Nationals and the other, year-end, big meets.

Now let’s turn to the future on three issues:

  1. Make certain that your reservations are submitted for the ISCA International Senior Cup Championship Meet.
  2. Think about what it is going to take to do a 100-free in 40-seconds.
  3. Grab your 5 ebooks and ISCA Annual Membership for $80 with the Cyber Monday Special — as others are doing.

The International Senior Cup happens in St. Petersburg, Florida, March 21 to 25, 2023.

Reservations, $45 per athlete, are being accepted now.

Swimming 100 Meters in 40 Seconds

Intriguing presentation by noted Biomechanist, Dr. Rod Havriluk in which he details step-by-step the performance factors necessary to achieve this seemingly insurmountable goal.

As a student of the iconic Doc Councilman, Dr. Havriluk is delivering on the challenge laid down by Doc in 1968 when he said: “The search for knowledge will continue and perhaps . . . make a forty second 100-meter freestyle possible.”
