In the height of the pandemic, ISCA stepped up to sponsor the broadcasting of the WPIAL meet, a scholastic championship that unfolded without fans. The district meet, a step prior Pennsylvania (PIAA) State Meet, happened without fans at the new Upper Saint Clair high school pool with limited participation.

When teams were out of the water, the swim economy cratered. Frankly, few were interested in spending on association membership fees.
