ABOUT US!

North Texas Nadadores (NTN) is a

year-round, age-group, competitive swimming team offering instruction, training, and competition to young people of all ages. NTN is a Carroll ISD-operated program that practices exclusively at the CISD Aquatic Center in Southlake, Texas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The NTN staff wants swimmers to have long-term success even beyond club

swimming. Because of this, NTN is a technique and aerobic training-based

program. NTN swimmers strive to be well-rounded in all four strokes, the individual medley, and all distances. NTN teaches good sportsmanship and teamwork. NTN

strives to create a safe and supportive environment where your swimmer(s) can reach all his or her goals.

” To offer a comprehensive youth competitive swim team to all of Southern Nevada. We aspire to develop all swimmers from beginners to the elite. Our primary goal is to teach lifelong skills that promote advancement in the sport of swimming and result in healthy and productive lifestyles.”

 

ABOUT US!

Since 1968, the Sandpipers of Nevada has established itself as a premier youth sports program in the Las Vegas area and one of the top club swim teams in the United States. The Sandpipers, along with being recognized amongst the few Gold Medal Swim Clubs in the country, offers a comprehensive program that satisfies the needs of novice swimmers to Olympic hopeful athletes. The Sandpipers of Nevada Swim Team is a member of the Southern California Swimming Association of USA Swimming. Sandpipers of Nevada is a non-profit corporation and is administered through a board of directors comprised of parent volunteers and coaches. The Sandpiper Foundation is built upon a tremendous amount of hard work by many volunteers, coaches, parents, and swimmers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Sandpipers of Nevada is seeking an energized coach who is willing to:

  • Learn the Sandpiper training & planning methodology to coach a Senior Level training group
  • Looking for a Coach who works well with others, is passionate about swimming and a career in coaching, with strong communication and customer service skills

 

  • Who is dedicated to developing each athlete into successful swimmers.
  • Will be the lead coach for a group of ~20 high school aged athletes ranging from Sectional to Junior National level
  • Will be responsible for training plans and season design
  • Will work directly with the Head Coach Ron Aitken and have the opportunity to learn from him and our staff
  • Must have a thirst to learn and desire to challenge oneself and their athletes is needed for this position

Applicants can expect approximately 25 hours of coaching on deck coupled with 20-25 hours of

team admin duties.

Admin duties may include, but not limited to:

  1. Practice scheduling
  2. Team communication
  3. Website updates
  4. Team travel planning
  5. Staff management
  6. Additional duties & responsibilities may be added as the position progresses

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

Asheville School seeks a dynamic, experienced coach for its USA Swimming and NC Independent High School teams. With responsibility for training the top tier swimmers on a growing team, this position offers the opportunity to grow the club and high school programs. Reporting to the Athletic Director, this position oversees 1-2 coaches and manages a six-lane 25 yard pool. This is a new position to reflect the needs of a growing

swim club in western North Carolina and there is room for growth for an energized and effective leader.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

(Serve as the Coach of the performance group with Blues Aquatics and the Asheville School Varsity Swim Team)

  • Primary focus on coaching high performance swimmers
  • Play a lead role in attracting qualified student-athletes to the school
  • Oversee scheduling all meets and meet entries
  • Recruit officials to get trained and certified 
  • Act as Meet Director for all home meets
  • Represent Asheville School at WNC High School swim meeting and NCISAA Swim Coaches Board as an officer

Serve as the school’s liaison to Blues Aquatics:

  • Act as liaison between School and club
  • Maintain financial records and match Team Unify financials with School
  • records
  • Oversee and develop coaching staff
  • Generate overall vision and direction of club

 

Secondary Duties:

  • Performs other duties to help ensure the smooth operation of the swimming program and Athletics Department

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • At least seven years of experience coaching at a competitive club or school, to include experience developing, training and motivating athletes ages 14-18
  • USA Swimming-required coaching certifications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs applicable to the position
  • Demonstrated passion for working with young people and enthusiasm for developing a quality swim club
  • Ability to develop young athletes into regional and national swimmers with an eye to facilitating college swimming careers
  • Capable communicator who can inspire athletes and work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
  • Strong people, organizational, and administrative skills needed to lead a growing swim club and effectively manage related operations
  • Ability to expand professional relationships within the sport.
  • Attention to detail with ability to effectively schedule and coordinate meet opportunities for varying athlete levels
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
